From social media management to content creation, I’ve worked with nonprofits, small businesses and organizations to strategically plan posts and analyze content across Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and SnapChat. Using the Adobe Creative Suite to create content, I’ve designed graphics for articles and blogs, Instagram stories and event pages.

As a journalist, I’ve created, planned and posted tweets, Instagram captions, Facebook posts and SnapChat text to share my content. I’ve also used tools like HootSuite and TweetDeck to manage accounts.

Transformation Yoga Project

Each week during my internship, I would take part in the social media team’s conference to brainstorm, plan and execute weekly and monthly content. Starting with projects for Instagram stories, I created graphics that presented events as well as research about Yoga and Meditation related to the organization’s focus on trauma, recovery, incarceration and mindfulness. I also created graphics to pair with biweekly blog posts I wrote.

TYP cohosted Yoga Day at the Union at Talen Energy Stadium for the second year in a row with the Philadelphia Union professional soccer team. The first Yoga Day, I focused on promoting the event across social media, posting on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook and managing the event Facebook page. I took over the project for the second year, leading biweekly calls with Union staff and a few TYP team members to plan the event. I promoted the event across social media and in newsletters to followers, subscribers as well as local youth soccer clubs local yoga studios.

To support the nonprofit’s recovery programs, a small team created the September Recovery Month “30 for 30” Donation Classes campaign, with the goal of hosting 30 yoga classes across the Greater Philadelphia area in various yoga studios and community spaces. I created the full class calendar PDF for both print and digital copies, updating it daily as new classes joined the campaign, eventually doubling our goal with 63 classes. I also continued social media support, and managed weekly newsletters and blog posts to keep the community updated with the classes.

#GivingYogaDay is TYP’s biggest single day of donations, and each year it takes place on GivingTuesday, the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and Black Friday. I created the logo to for the 2018 and 2019 #GivingYogaDay, which was used on the nonprofit’s social posts and events in the month leading up to and on the day.

For my personal food and drink blog, I created a page to share my content as well as connect with the breweries, restaurants and pubs in the community and feature those I visited. Brisket and Brews has grown by related and restaurant accounts sharing my content as well as using and following hashtags to connect with the local Philadelphia food and drink community.
